About THE FESTIVAL

The IOU Video Festival is a new film festival, founded in 2017 and dedicated to highlighting the work of young emerging filmmakers from the province of Manitoba.

We showcase narrative short films, documentaries, music video, experimental films and digital media work that has been made by a Manitoban artist - without the added pressure of awards.

This year for our 2nd year running, the IOU Video Festival aims to showcase and celebrate the best and most interesting selections of film and media work from the province of Manitoba, and to provide festival goers a social evening with friends while enjoying the best art young Manitoban's have to offer.

  • Screenings and Experimental installations at The Park Theatre in Osbourne, Winnipeg.
  • Entertaining hosts.
  • Affordable admission $10-$15
  • Networking opportunities.
